From 1998 till 2020 Tangible Technologies has been working with the Development Information Systems at John Hopkins University. Along with the web conversion, significant enhancements were incorporated into the ALADIN (Alumni and Development Information Network) system based on new requirements. From requirement analysis to functional and data modeling to actually designing and implementing the system, Tangible Technologies was the key to the successful completion and deployment of the system on the web.
Additionally we also provided help in evaluation of Hardware and Software related to the deployment of ALADIN on the Internet. We were also responsible for the setup of three tier architecture using Oracle’s Internet Application Server. We helped port the key functions of the Application to an Oracle Portal environment using the fore mentioned Oracle Application Server. As a direct result of working on this project Tangible has developed reusable libraries of code and standards that can be used in a generic fashion on similar projects.
Developed and implemented Business Intelligence Dashboard using Tableau. This dashboard provides executive management key snapshots of all development and fund-raising activities. Dashboards are integrated with the Portal using Oracle Single Sign On
For John Hopkins University, Tangible Technologies consultants also created the JHU VIP Roster Application. This application which was designed using Oracle Apex with Oracle Database at the backend keeps track of the VIP patients that visit the JHU facility. The daily list is loaded into the Oracle Database and made available for screening. Once the list is manually flagged for potential donors by the research staff the fund development officers devise a plan to solicit potential donors.
